Hi y’all! This is Sara, one of my 2017 rbmodels, aaaaand her twin brother Shane!

I have had the pleasure of knowing this awesome family for a few years, so I was thrilled when Sara showed interest in the model team!   I just love shooting with her …. and I love the ideas she had for her session.   I always like to share a private pinterest board with my clients so we can collaborate on the right “look” and vibe that they want; I’m really big on this being ALL about my client, so getting ideas from them is crucial so I can help bring their vision to life.  Sara’s mom wanted a few shots of the twins together (which I love because I have boy/girl twins too!)

They showed up in their Dad’s killer car for the photo session, so we grabbed some shots of them together and also separately.

and then had to grab some of Shane too because he’s so darn cute (and sweet) 🙂

Once I was done torturing shooting Shane (lol … he was actually a great sport) we spent some more time getting the rest of Sara’s shots and cycled through about 6 outfits.  I of course LOVE all the Free People she brought …. a girl after my own heart!

We shot these at Castaic Lake here in Santa Clarita and it was a beautiful day!  Jami kept her looking gorgeous, as usual.

We had a bit of green from some recent much needed rains, but Sara likes the desert vibe so we recreated some Joshua Tree looks since we couldn’t get out there!

At the very end of the session, Sara used pink hair chalk to get a WHOLE different look – I LOVE these! What a fun way to add something totally different for a last look! (pssst — I have hair chalk on hand, so if you want to add some to YOUR session, just let me know!!)

Hey Class of 2017 … it’s not too late to lock in a date for your senior photos! Give me a shout!  I’m DYING to shoot in all this green we have here in Santa Clarita – won’t be around for long I’m sure!   I’m in the midst of designing loads of senior announcements — make sure you get a shoot in before end of March to ensure you can get custom designed announcements out in time too!

and Class of 2018 –

June is pretty much booked other than a couple of dates; July is looking GREAT for beach sessions – but August – October is packed so you’ll need to get in touch ASAP to secure your date for your senior session!!
