Using Astrology for Business Timing So You Stop Working Against Yourself – Today on the Podcast!

When the Problem Isn’t Your Strategy, It’s Your Timing

Using astrology for business might be the most practical thing you haven’t tried yet. If you’ve ever run a launch that flopped and couldn’t figure out why, or pushed hard on a project that felt like moving through wet cement no matter what you did, there’s a real chance the problem wasn’t your offer. It wasn’t your email sequence. It wasn’t even your audience. It was the timing. Most creative entrepreneurs are running their businesses on a calendar that was designed during the Industrial Revolution, built for factory workers, and it has nothing to do with how you’re actually wired.

The Woman Who Brings Data to the Woo

Sheri Moise is a business astrologer and strategist with 25 years in corporate sales and marketing. She didn’t stumble into astrology from the mystical side. She built a career on data and strategy, then discovered there’s an entire layer of timing intelligence underneath business cycles that most entrepreneurs never look at. Her whole framework is “data over drama,” and she uses astrological cycles to build actual plans with dates, decision windows, and priorities. Not vibes. Plans. I’ve been obsessed with astrology for most of my life, and I’m embarrassed it took me this long to have an astrologer on the show.

Your Business Has a Natural Rhythm and You Might Be Fighting It

Here’s what Sheri explained that stopped me mid-conversation. For thousands of years, before the Gregorian calendar and the 40-hour work week existed, our ancestors tracked the movement of the planets and lived within cycles. They knew when to rest, when to push, when to plant. None of that was mystical intuition; it was data. Those cycles repeat, which means you can actually track them, study them, and plan around them. The problem is that most of us are trying to force a November launch because “that’s when Q4 happens,” when our personal chart might be saying this is a rest cycle, not a visibility window. That mismatch costs time, energy, and results, and nothing is wrong with you.

The Success Planet Discovery That Changed How Sheri Works with Clients

The piece of this conversation that hit me hardest was what Sheri called the Success Planet. It’s an old Hellenistic astrology tool that shows where all the energies in your chart move through, and it determines your natural planning and motivation cycles. If Mars is your Success Planet, you run in 6-to-8-week cycles with built-in ebbs and flows. If Mercury is yours, you’re working in 88-day containers. Sheri started using this with her clients when standard quarterly planning kept missing for certain people, and it changed everything. The moment she showed one client that she was Venus-ruled and needed to be working from genuine desire or it wouldn’t happen, the relief in that client was immediate. It wasn’t a character flaw. It was just how she was designed.

What This Means for How You Run Your Business

Using astrology for business doesn’t mean you have to become an astrologer or memorize your entire natal chart. What Sheri actually recommends as a starting point is knowing what big life transits are coming for you in the next three to five years. Because as an entrepreneur, major astrological events, like your Chiron return around age 50, can throw your whole business off if you don’t see them coming. You might feel like burning everything down when what the chart is actually asking you to do is restructure. Knowing the difference is where business astrology becomes genuinely useful, not just interesting.

The Market Is Shifting and Your Messaging Needs to Know That

There’s also a collective layer to this, and it’s relevant right now. We’re moving into what Sheri calls the “guide by your side” era, driven by the nodes shifting into Aquarius energy later this year through 2027. The previous cycle, Aries energy, rewarded fast solutions and quick-win CTAs. This coming cycle is about connection, co-creation, and the individual within the community. For creatives and photographers especially, this means showing up as a human being, not a polished brand. It means people are going to be choosing you because of who you are, not just what you do. And using astrology for business helps you track these collective shifts and position accordingly, not reactively.

FAQ: Using Astrology for Business

What does it mean to use astrology for business? Business astrology uses astrological cycles, both personal and collective, to time launches, planning periods, rest cycles, and marketing shifts. Instead of following a generic business calendar, you work with the natural rhythms in your own chart and in the broader market.

Can astrology actually help me time my launches better? Yes, and it’s more specific than you might think. A business astrologer can look at your natal chart to identify which periods are high-energy visibility windows versus internal building phases, so you stop pushing a launch during a natural rest cycle and wondering why it’s not working.

Do I need to know a lot about astrology to start using it for business? Not at all. Sheri recommends starting with one simple question: what are the major transits coming for me in the next three to five years? A single session with a business-focused astrologer can give you a big-picture map without overwhelming you with the whole system at once.

What is a Success Planet and why does it matter? Your Success Planet is a Hellenistic astrology tool that identifies where all your chart’s energy flows and how you’re naturally wired to plan and take action. It tells you your natural work cycles, so you can stop beating yourself up for not matching someone else’s rhythm.

What is the difference between regular astrology and astrology for business? Regular astrology focuses on personality, relationships, and personal development. Business astrology specifically looks at how your chart affects your marketing cycles, launch timing, productivity, and how collective transits impact consumer behavior and market conditions.

What’s the Aquarius shift Sheri mentioned and why does it matter for my business? Starting in August 2026, the North Node moves into Aquarius, shifting collective energy for about 18 months. This favors connection-forward, community-oriented, human-first brands over performer-style, guru-positioned ones. If you’ve been building an authentic, relational business, this cycle will reward you.

Is astrology for business only for people who already believe in astrology? No. Sheri’s approach is grounded in cycles and patterns that repeat predictably, which is essentially data. You don’t have to believe in the mystical side to benefit from understanding that markets and personal energy follow trackable rhythms.
