Los Angeles Mini Family Portrait Sessions Are Open for Fall
My mini family portrait session dates for fall are finally live and all the info you need, including the link to book your session is here in this blog post!
But first – I mention these as Los Angeles mini portrait sessions because that’s where most of my families search from, but the actual shooting happens right here in Santa Clarita, at locations I’ve used for years and know in every kind of light.
I’ve got four dates on the calendar this year – each session thirty minutes long, producing real portraits you’ll actually want to print. Let’s get into the details.
What’s Actually Included in Your Mini Family Portrait Session
Each mini family portrait session runs thirty minutes, enough time to get everyone dressed, cooperative, and photographed before anyone, kid or adult, hits their limit. You will see a proofing gallery like THESE in 2-3 days and then you’ll choose the final high resolution retouched images you’d like from there. Your mini session includes three high resolution digital images chosen from the session, and if you fall for more of them (you will), additional images are available at 20% off my regular per-image pricing. No minimums and no guesswork.
Why My Mini Sessions Are Different
My $385 mini family portrait session price is higher than a lot of the mini sessions floating around Los Angeles and Santa Clarita right now, the kind where a photographer books forty families in a single day and hands you a flash drive with a hundred and fifty unedited images you’ll scroll through once. I’ve been a professional photographer for 20+ years, so not only am I super efficient at this – I also put a great deal of care and expertise into your session. I want you to LOVE them for generations to come.
For reference, my regular family sessions start at $550 with a $750 minimum order, so a $385 mini genuinely qualifies as my lower priced option. What you’re getting for that price is the same editing, the same eye, and the same attention I bring to every family session, just fit into thirty minutes instead of a full hour.
You’re paying for quality compressed into less time, and that’s a very different product than a volume mini built to move as many families through as possible in a day. There are tons of photographers who do offer that – but I want to upfront that this is not that 😉
I don’t offer many of these mini family sessions and I also limit how many I offer on a given day because even though these are shorter sessions, I still want to give you my 100% best. I also fully edit and retouch all my images, so the “proofs” you see in your gallery all reflect my full edit and they are ready to print.
Your Four Fall Mini Session Dates
I’m opening four dates this year: October 4th, October 11th, October 24th, and November 28th, which is Thanksgiving weekend.
That last one is intentional. If you’ve got a kid home from college for the holiday and you already know this might be the only weekend all year your whole family is in the same yard, let alone the same city, that date exists for you. Every one of these mini family portrait sessions books up fast because I only take a limited number of slots per day, so if you’ve been putting off family portraits, consider this your nudge.
How to Book Your Los Angeles Mini Family Portrait Session
Booking is simple – click THIS LINK, choose your date, and I’ll handle the rest, including exactly where we shoot in Santa Clarita.
NOTE: location will be in a natural setting – I like to shoot at Placerita Canyon Nature Preserve because it’s large, always green and they have those pretty yellow and orange trees at this time of year. BUT occasionally we can’t shoot there for various reasons, so I will be in touch with you personally to discuss location once you are booked.
