I really can’t say enough good things about Jordan. I was lucky enough to photograph her older sister Jax for her senior portraits two years ago; so, what a treat to get to work with this awesome family again!!  Jami was equally excited to work with them once more – she’s responsible for the amazing hair and makeup 🙂

We opted to shoot at The Camarillo Ranch House for her session. I love shooting out there because it’s close to the beach, so it’s WAY cooler than here in SCV.
(it’s been so hot here, omg!)

How awesome is this outfit? Jordan totally rocks this Free People romper!

The property is not huge, but we had tons of options for her various Free People wardrobe. I wanted to steal half the stuff she brought! 🙂 LOVE this purple top…paired with those shots AND THOSE BOOTS…I can’t. So much love.

Camarillo Ranch is so pretty! Can we talk about this tree? And again with the awesome choice in her wardrobe…come on!

Jordan can rock just about any look, even these hot bell-bottoms! And how awesome is this crocheted top with all that fringe?

And then she came out in this dress…wow! Classy and elegant, don’t you think?

Camarillo Ranch closes at 5 so we had to get out of there before shooting the couch shots you’ll see next. So, we literally just drove until I found a spot on the side of the road (yep) and we hauled that couch out of my van, LOL!! Watch my snapchat from her session if you don’t believe me!

When I shot Jax’s portraits, she requested a really epic flower crown (did you go see it? Really, go check out probably the most amazing flower crown I’ve ever done!) Jax had a vision for what she wanted so I made this huge crown for her last shots of the session. So, of course, we had to do something equally amazing for Jordan!!

She sent me some inspiration images – one with a couch and a pretty flower crown, so we decided to use my leopard print chaise. I covered it with this pretty fabric I had found in the fashion district a couple of years ago. It worked perfectly with the off white Free People dress!

For the crown, she didn’t want huge, but I did want to make something different and not “basic.” So when I found the mini Cala lilies, I knew I had to somehow incorporate those!

It all worked out because the images came out GORGEOUS and now we have a good story to tell — never a dull moment with the women in this family! 🙂
