Los Angeles Holiday Mini Sessions

It’s that time of year again! I’m having a hard time accepting that it’s already September but before we know it, the holidays will be upon us – and you need family photos, so let’s get you scheduled for your holiday mini-session and check that off your list.

As a full-service boutique portrait photographer, I don’t offer minis often, so you’ll want to grab your spot asap.

Many Los Angeles photographers offer multiple mini sessions, but I am usually a little too busy to do this during “busy season”. Typically, I only offer full sessions at a much higher investment, but these minis are designed to get you in and out quickly while not breaking your bank.

I have THREE dates for you for holiday mini sessions this year, in different locations.

First, I’m offering STUDIO family minis on October 28th, 2023 (Newhall, CA)

This is perfect if you are looking for a clean, minimalist look. You’ll be photographed in an all white environment with small touches of holiday greenery and twinkly lights in the background. If you normally get outdoor holiday family photos, this is a fun change! It’s also great for bright, crisp photos of your gorgeous little kids and the plus side is that these photos look beautiful on ANY kind of holiday card template – or on your walls.

As an added bonus, you can squeeze in some quick headshots if you need one for work as long as we get it all in within the 20 minutes allotted for your session OR you can book two back to back (still cheaper than my regular headshot session).

I’m also offering two dates for outdoor holiday mini sessions in Los Angeles.

I’m shooting at O’Melveny Park in Granada Hills on November 5th, 2023.

I love this location mainly because it is easy to get in and out of with little kids – and it photographs beautifully. There are multiple locations to use and we normally get lots of pretty Fall color, along with greenery.

And I’m also doing one day at Vasquez Rocks on October 22nd, 2023,

This is always a beautiful backdrop and provides very “California” vibes and sometimes we get blessed with amazing skies in Fall as well. We do get a decent amount of wind at this location, so if you are looking for perfectly posed hair, this may not be the best choice lol!

I love shooting with little kids here though because they get a chance to play, so my families who like a bit more of a “lifestyle” and editorial vibe, this is perfect.
