I’ve got Madyson on the blog today and I couldn’t be more excited about it!!

This girl is amazing across the board, but because she is also such a film geek (and I say that with all the love in my heart because I TOO AM A FILM GEEK and married to one LOL), she had a very specific vision for her senior portraits.

It was so exciting to see HER excitement about this shoot and she absolutely nailed the look she wanted …. a nod to Once Upon A Time In Hollywood (also one of my all time favorite films)

Madyson was laser-focused on the right “look” for this shoot, so she even found the most amazing vintage dresses from Unique Vintage in Burbank – they were perfect for these locations!! 

I have to say that it was really strange to see Hollywood so dead when we were down there shooting …. super eerie.  BUT because of that, we were able to get so many amazing shots sans people – so that part made my life a lot easier lol

We also wanted to grab some in front of the Kodak Theater on Hollywood Blvd., which is normally super busy – but again, we found very few people there, so we got incredible shots of Madyson there.  She’s wearing a stunning jumpsuit I got years ago from Stoned Immaculate – it’s vintage as well, and fit her perfectly!

Normally we would NOT be able to get these kinds of shots without literally hundreds of people milling around in the background!!

Then we headed up to Griffith Observatory for some La La Land pics – another of Madyson’s faves (and mine).  We were greeted with a beautiful fire sky just as the sun was setting.

Madyson’s also a budding photographer and filmmaker, so we had to grab some of her with her camera 🙂  

I love these last shots of her in this beautiful Free People dress – the color of it against the color of the sky is just stunning …. we had so much fun shooting with you, Madyson!! 

Jami really did such a beautiful job keeping with Madyson’s vision of natural, yet retro makeup and hair 🙂
