Renee Bowen Ashley & Sam | Santa Clarita Wedding Photographer

I had the pleasure of working with Ashley, Sam and their amazing families in February on their wedding day here in Santa Clarita. They were married at the Valencia Bridgeport Clubhouse – a beautiful venue I’ve shot at a few times before – and it was a gorgeous day for their wedding! Ashley and Sam opted for a First Look, which I love…..because it gives us so much more TIME to get great shots of just the two of them – without the rushed madness of having to get those after the ceremony, when everyone is vying for their attention. We had so much time that we even took a short walk out to the far end of the lake and shot some more!

A big part of why the day went so smoothly is because these two are both incredibly laid back – a rare quality on a wedding day! They were both SO easy-going and just happy to be together with their family and friends – something that was wonderful to witness. Not to mention, Susan (Ashley’s Mom) had taken care of all those little details… so the day went on without a hitch!
