This lovely lady is Sydney. I had so much fun shooting her SEEN session this summer!{Senior Portraits by Renee Bowen https://reneebowen.com} [post_title]

Sydney is an accomplished equestrian and she has one of the most beautiful Andalusian horses I have ever seen. We were honored to shoot at Tilley Andalusians, a GORGEOUS farm and home to many beautiful Andalusians. Working with horses is always a challenge, but we had a wonderful trainer on set that day. Lauren did a wonderful job of getting Fabuloso AF ready for his closeup.

Although, as a show horse, he is SUCH a willing subject! I swear, the minute I put my camera up, he started posing!

I’m sure it’s probably because Sydney is a photographer herself and takes loads and loads of photos of him!

Sydney is a senior at Santa Clarita Valley International, the charter school where my own kids go to school. It always makes me happy to photograph seniors who are graduating from there.

 Sydney is NOT one to wear makeup and do her hair…but, can we TALK about her hair? Holy awesomeness…seriously!! Jami, the greatest HMUA of all time, had her hands full (literally), but it looked stunning!  I loved her wardrobe choices; she and her mom kept the wardrobe fairly simple and classic..and that colorful skirt? OMG…so Ralph Lauren!

Big congrats to Sydney — she is currently at Andalusian World Cup in Las Vegas and from the looks of it, she is doing fabulous!   Good luck, Sydney!!!!

And thanks to Lexi -my awesome intern who has been spending a lot of time with Jami and I this summer – learning the ropes.  She is a local high schooler herself and is getting loads of on the job training 😉  These two have made my summer so much more enjoyable and I want to say thanks to them both!!
