Happy Friday guys! Here’s Lexi – another of my 2018 Model Team! We shot at the Pasadena City Hall for her session as well and had a gorgeous day; explored some parts of the city hall I had never shot in before as well.
How awesome is that skirt? All of Lexi’s wardrobe flowed so well with our surrounding; love the white dress (you can’t ever go wrong with something like this!) Jami did a beautiful job on Lexi’s already perfect skin – love what she did with Lexi’s hair as well; very simple but frames her face oh so wonderfully 😉
The architecture here is soooo pretty ….. we climbed up into the nooks and crannies of used all the space we could! When thinking of a location for your senior portraits, there’s a lot to consider. First, do you need a permit to shoot there? If you aren’t sure, ask me and I can help find out; most of the time, it’s best for my clients to inquire (simply because Los Angeles has SO many photographers and most places think we are on a commercial shoot …. not a personal senior portrait session). However, I do buy permits for certain places – they’re necessary (and as a professional photographer, I carry standard 1 million/ 3 million/ 1 million insurance coverage, so I can provide any venue with that info). Remember that location is secondary to YOU, though …. you are the star of the show here – and the location is meant to simply help add more personal style and unique-ness to your shoot. We will collaborate on the perfect location for YOU.
LOVE when seniors want to add sports/cheer, etc. to their session! This is all about YOU and what makes you the person you are … Lexi has been in cheer for a long time and has been a leader at Saugus High Cheer all four years – she definitely wanted to include this in her session. I always try to find a unique way to do this, so it’s not just your “standard” shot in your uniform 😉
I think these might be my faves …. something super classic about a sweater and jeans!
Here’s more of Lexi’s session – we really got some great images and had a ton of fun with her and her Mom!
