We’ve got Kate on the blog today!  She’s another one of my 2022 Influencers and this was her senior session that we shot near Carpenteria at a little beach she loves.

We started in a cute little neighborhood that had tons of beautiful flowers and color for us and even though it was pretty overcast, I love the moodiness of these images.

Jami, my wonderful makeup and hair artist, gave Kate a beautiful natural look while also preserving her freckles ❤️ and I love how her makeup complimented her outfits.  Kate is one of those girls who just knows what she likes and I love that about her!

It was really fun walking around this neighborhood, not knowing what we would find and creating these images with her! Sometimes my clients have an idea and although I haven’t shot there before, I’m always happy to experiment – that’s part of what makes my job so fun.  I don’t need to know the area or to have shot there – my job is to make sure I know how to create whatever I need for whatever location we go to.

The beach was just a short walk and we were greeted with absolutely NOONE on the sand LOL!  It was pretty chilly and overcast, so that’s probably why but omg I love when nobody is on the beach … it makes for a whole different mood.  And I have lighting so it’s never an issue for me.

Kate plays guitar so we definitely grabbed a few with hers and then had some fun with this pretty scarf she brought along. She was freezing by this point haha but she pulled this off like a PRO.

Kate even brought along a graduation gown 😀  How beautiful is she by the way?!!

Oh Class of 2022, you guys are a blast and my Influencer Team has been soooooo fun to shoot with.  I cannot wait for some of our team photoshoots coming up – now that the busy Fall season is almost over, we will have more time to get together and take pics.  I have stuff planned for them well into Spring.
