Excited to finally get this gorgeous girl on the blog!  

I loved my session with Cassidy here in Santa Clarita – she opted for the waterfall way down off Bouquet Canyon Road, which is always a great place to shoot – year round.  Jami did a phenomenal job on her hair and makeup, as usual – and we had a blast hiking and shooting with her and her Mom!

I loved all her wardrobe choices – most of them being Free People 😉  but all different enough to give her some great variety as well.  I always suggest trying to get as much variety as possible so the images look cohesive but not all the same….

That waterfall is SO cold – doesn’t matter what time of year it is!  But Cassidy handled it like a pro and was totally up for whatever I threw at her 🙂  Whenever I shoot out at this location, we start a little earlier in the day since the sun drops over the mountains earlier than in other parts of the valley, and it gets pretty chilly as soon as that sun goes down!  This location was once a campground, so there are hills of rocks and cement with trees growing out of them, as well as tall hillsides, but then on the other side – we get some killer backlighting as the sun descends over the smaller hills in the distance.  It’s really beautiful back there – and it’s literally off the side of the road.  The only downside is that there’s ZERO cell reception so you kinda have to be off the grid when you’re back there, which can be pretty cool .. but also pretty scary lol! 

I especially loved this Free People romper she wore!  I think 3 or 4 of my 2018 Seniors ended up wearing this romper – all in different colors!   It’s sooooooo cute and perfect for this location, don’t you think?

Can’t believe we are wrapping up Class of 2018 already!!  I just finished all the images from my mini shoot with my new 2019 model team and posted a few on my Instagram, but I am going to blog those soon!!  Can’t wait to introduce you all to them 🙂
