Happy Sunday! Today I’ve got my session with #rbinfluencer Olivia for you! We shot her session at Disneyland because it’s Olivia’s favorite place and we even grabbed some with her bff 🙂
Shooting at Disneyland is not easy to do – mainly because of all the people … there’s no getting around it, so you have to be ready for that and also pull out all your creativity.
It’s best to have a plan ahead of time; or at least a list of places you’d like to shoot at so the day goes smoothly. We met beforehand to make sure we were all on board with how the day would go – which made it SO chill and fun. Jami did Olivia’s hair and makeup ahead of time and then we met at Disney to start shooting!
We were lucky enough to have really amazing weather the day we were there; and the Halloween decorations were still up! It got more and more packed as the day went on so we had to get as much shot as possible before dark. I love the shots we got on the teacups .. the backlight and the fun/laughing … so fun – but yes, I nearly puked shooting these LOL!
When I saw this guy blowing bubbles with that gorgeous light, we literally ran to grab these shots – how adorable are those ears?
Disney pro tip: Tinkerbell’s garden is the perfect spot for photos … it’s usually not busy and it photographs so cute!
I mean … how cute!!
When I tell you we covered pretty much every area of this park, I mean ….. we really got our steps in! So worth it 🙂
We finally threw in the towel after we rode the Haunted Mansion ride .. it was super dark and super crowded and we had already gotten SO many images … I just love what we were able to get. The main reason we got so much is because Olivia is a PRO – she has no problem posing in public and creating an entire “story” to one image … so that’s important to know when you look at images like this. While I will always work with clients and have perfected the art of “un-posing” … so they look natural and not over-posed, it also helps when I have someone like Olivia who is full of personality and life!
