So happy to connect with you here! If you're a fellow neurospicy creative, I hope you appreciate the mish-mash of goodness I have here; it's a little nutty but I love it - hope you do too!
I absolutely love shooting out of town Senior Portrait clients …. I love that they find me on google and choose me. Yeah, I said it. It feels good to be chosen, right?
But really… I love meeting and spending time with them. All my sessions are experiences – and I always come away from them feeling happier….more connected….more calm – relaxed even! We all have those days – when life is chaotic and honestly, I don’t know HOW I’m gonna pull this together…but inevitably, on the way home, Jami and I will reflect on how freakin’ awesome that just was.
This session was just that.
Freakin’ awesome.
Connected. Happy. Fun.
Kyra is 2015 Senior from Washington {state} and I was lucky enough to photograph her and her amazing sisters this past summer for her Malibu Senior Portraits. They are all beautiful — I think they look like fairy princesses in their little white dresses and flower crowns 🙂
I also made Kyra a flower crown after discussing different options with her mom via email; I just love how it turned out…. suited her perfectly, don’t ya think?
She is STUNNING to photograph – obviously… such beautiful features {Jami was in love with her eyebrows, no surprise there! And did such a fantastic job on simply enhancing her natural beauty}. Kyra is an athlete but ….. she definitely knows how to work a camera as well. She was a dream to shoot….
And I’m so glad we got some shots of her with her sisters Kylie and Chloe … they are all so photogenic and fun — we were able to get some shots with gorgeous greenery and natural surroundings – AND California beaches … the right mix of both!
as always, feel free to click and share these!
Just love them…
Now that my senior summer is winding down and we are FINALLY getting cooler weather here, I’m having a chance to try and catch up on blogging some of the awesome sessions I’ve had!
Update: 2014 is booked but I do have openings for SPRING sessions for 2015 Seniors – click the pic to find out more
— and for all you 2016 (YES, 2016!) Seniors…… click the pic for info
For the photographer friends reading, this session was shot with a Nikon D800 and mainly the Nikon 85mm 1.4 lens, with the 35mm thrown in there too. Mostly all natural light, but 2 Westcott Ice Lights were also used for the beach shots. xo, R
