It’s Katarina’s turn on the blog today and I’m really excited to share her session with you guys! We walked all over Downtown Los Angeles for this one … but man did we have fun!
We started down by the Broad Museum (which is closed of course because of Covid) so it was sort of eerie being in DTLA with hardly any people whatsoever …. really odd. BUT it did make shooting pics down there a lot easier LOL!
Normally, I have to dodge a bunch of people on the street or photoshop them out 😮
But we were really the only people out there on the day we shot these – and it was actually really awesome. I loved Katarina’s wardrobe choices and use of color!
It had actually been a while since we’ve been down there; I always love shooting by the Disney Music Hall and Katarina’s outfit was perfect for these shots. I love how these turned out 🙂
We walked across to the upper deck of the Angels Flight Railway (also closed; also no people around) and grabbed a few shots. I love this color combo and I had honestly never shot up there before so it was new and fun 😉
On our way back to the car, we stumbled upon this killer blue and yellow wall that looked amazing with Katarina’s eyes.
Then it was time to head down to the Arts District (also pretty dead) to grab more colorful backgrounds in one of my favorite spots to shoot in Los Angeles.
I love this section of the Arts District – the wings never disappoint 🙂 And I think that FreePeople dress looks so great with these colors!!
Thanks to Jami Cox for amazing makeup and hair, as always – my trusty sidekick 🙂
