Hannah | rbmodel | My Winner for the #12SEEN Model Contest
I'm
Renee
So happy to connect with you here! If you're a fellow neurospicy creative, I hope you appreciate the mish-mash of goodness I have here; it's a little nutty but I love it - hope you do too!
Are you next???? (pssst class of 2018…..gonna be signing models up in January – read the bottom of this post to find out how to enter)
I made this little promo for her — also explains a little about the contest:
Hannah is such a free spirit…like, she is the definition of free spirit! She might be the coolest person I’ve ever met. Yeah …. so down to earth and really “open” … up for anything too!
She definitely had her own vision in mind for her senior session. Since she spends a lot of time with her family down in Santa Monica, she wanted to go down off Montana Ave and just soak in the SoCal vibes there. Hannah had some awesome outfits, especially this fringe jacket …. I just couldn’t love it more! I might need one.
We found some incredible backdrops for her session. Aside from the landscaping, we shot in back alleys, on streets, in parking lots, and my favorite – in someone’s driveway with their car 😮 lol This girl does NOT have issues with caring about what others think – she will just make friends with them. I could shoot with her all day! (And in January, I get to in Palm Springs – Yay!)
I told you her outfits were off the chain awesome! They’re very much HER — very free and SoCal/beachy, but put together. I create secret pinterest boards for my models and she curated a great board, so she was able to really plan these looks out, and then I chimed in with some tips to fine tune it all.
CAN we talk about this lace outfit?? Wow, and yes, she did stop traffic a couple of times … I mean seriously. We literally shot these right off Ocean – on the strand – alongside lots and lots of passers by.
I love the stuff we got on this funky tree; totally worked for her outfit and vibe. Then she threw on a jacket and made this outfit a whole other thing. LOVE
I really dig the shots we got on the overpass with the car lights and sunset behind us. The light was getting super low, but I had my Westcott Ice Light 2 (Two-Pack) as usual, so we were able to keep shooting.
Jami did her touchups out of the back of my van as usual – and changed her look up a few times — Hannah is up for whatever, so she is also a makeup artist’s dream! She started in one outfit on our way down to the beach and then changed once we got down there.
The shots we got of her at the end might be my fave. This is not a dress, btw — it’s a SKIRT from Free People that she thought would look better as a dress so we just taped her into it! 😮 That was interesting to do on the beach, haha!
Y’all know how much I love movement. Well, this girl could teach a class on it. Honestly, there were far too many shots from her session – but soooo much movement and life and energy! I just couldn’t help myself! We had a BLAST with this one – ended well after dark and shlepped back up that hill (ok this part was NOT fun) and headed straight to Chipotle.
There we so many amazing shots from this shoot – check out her slideshow!
Like all my #rbmodel reps, Hannah has her own mobile app!
