where are you now?
the podcast for gen z
I’m Renee Bowen, I’ve worked with high school seniors for 13 years to tell their stories through photographs.
Over this time, I’ve discovered so much about teenagers, their world & the challenges they face every day and I wanted to create a platform for them to share their stories on a deeper level.
Where are you now? is a podcast meant to inspire – to create an empowering, unfiltered space to communicate ideas & to connect. An opportunity to share your truth about you, how you’re influencing the world around you. The successes, the failures, the leaps, the fails; what you’re doing to change your world – in an open space that listens & doesn’t judge.
It’s about authenticity. Opening up a dialogue about you.
So, where are you now?
do you want to tell YOUR story?
I want to help tell it – so apply HERE with your name, age and any info we need to understand what you would like to chat about. We are looking for dynamic teens and young adults (ages 14-22) who have something to share with the world. (you will need to be referred by a professional High School Senior Photographer in our network)
I believe there has never been a better time to speak your truth; our world is in dire need of your creativity, strength, and purpose. In all my years in working with teenagers and their parents, the one theme that still holds true is that there is little in the way of recognition for your voices at this age. Society tells you that you aren’t old enough yet; not wise enough – thinks you’re on your phones too much, etc. I think they’re wrong. And I want to help bring your story – whatever that is – to more ears.
I promise to treat you with respect and to listen – without judgment, and I promise to help tell your story with authenticity and truth. This isn’t a podcast about all things fluffy and pretty; I want to hear about what makes you YOU; what keeps you up at night …. the things you are frustrated about and what you would like to do to help fix that. I want to know what dreams you have and the kind of things you have to deal with on a daily basis – at school/work/home. I believe the world needs to hear this now more than ever.
