Wow, 2018 is off and running – I have been on vacation for almost THREE WEEKS (I never do that) – so I’ll be playing catchup for the next few days for sure 🙂  But … totally worth it – you have to give yourself some downtime every once in awhile!

I hope you all had a fantastic holiday season!  I’m gearing up for my Class of 2019 Seniors as we speak (yes, already!) – make sure you read the end of this blog post if you know a Class of 2019 Senior who is interested in shooting with me!

Say hi to Kelsey – yet another #rbmodel I had the pleasure to shoot with this year! Yep, we shot her session in Malibu as well! We hit a hiking trail I like first then headed to the beach.

I adore the color palette in her images; and can we talk about how much she looks like Jennifer Aniston?! Jami and I have the tendency to “see” other people in our clients all the time … I guess because we are always looking so intently at their faces lol – but honestly, Kelsey here could be dropped into an episode of Friends no problem!

Kelsey is another one of my Valencia High School Cheerleaders and is super fun to shoot – she’s up for anything (aka climbing a giant dead tree) and very easy going.

And then it was off to the beach! Kelsey’s wardrobe choices were perfect for the whole day’s shooting!

We were blessed with yet another gorgeous sunset on this day – which complimented that pink dress just perfectly!! These LA sunsets are the perfect backdrop for gorgeous beach portraits – this is one of my absolute favorite shots; I love how we can see the lights of Catalina in the distance!  (I’ll be blogging a session I shot ON Catalina soon, so make sure you watch for that).
