Say hi to Emily – she’s the first of my 2019 Model Team to hit the blog!  We shot her session in the Arts District (downtown LA) and found some really cool backgrounds and textures for her session.

We had to battle the wind a little, which is not really the “norm” for DTLA, but we managed …. and her hair and makeup (by Jami Cox of course) held up great!  

Emily is super fun to shoot with – can’t wait to shoot some of our team shoots too!  (These are coming up – I’ve had to adjust my schedule a little this summer because we are taking a family vacation to Europe for two weeks, and then I’ve got to head up to UCSC with my daughter for her orientation – and my summer shooting calendar is getting INSANE … so I’ll be planning my model team shoots when I return from Europe!)

I just love shooting downtown … it changes often too, so it’s always fun to see what new art is up.  That’s why I tell my clients not to stress about shooting at some of the same locations that maybe their friends shot at; everyone’s session is different – even if we shoot at the same spot!  It’s always my goal to make each person’s session unique and special.
